About Patchwork

OUR MISSION

Patchwork Theatre Company is a student-run collective dedicated to fostering creativity and collaboration. From writing and directing to devising original works, our mission is to facilitate and empower creation. We strive to generate honest pieces of theatre in any form, honoring our unique perspectives and the power of collaboration.

HOW WE GOT STARTED

Patchwork Theatre Company started in the Actor Training Program's 2027 cohort. Our director, Cameron Measom, hand-picked a group of classmates whose skills complimented one another and melded well to create devised theatre. We started brainstorming for our first project in November of 2024 and we have continued to take on new projects since then. Our first and longest-running project, A Song For Buck Mountain, serves as a testament to our dedication, creativity, and love for theatre.

OUR INSPIRATION

Patchwork regularly takes inspiration from Tectonic Theatre Company and Punchdrunk Theatre Company.  Our conservatory-style training in the Actor Training Program continues to influence the way we view theatre, design, and directing. We are especially grateful to Andra Harbold, whose generosity and creative vision continues to inspire, impact, and empower us.
